4.5 hours it took to decide on the abdication of the Right of Way for 2nd Ave and to give the property to the Phoenixville Library. There were some conditions that would appear, at least on the surface, to be a deal killer for the Library. One is the approval of variances by the Zoning Hearing Board. I guess that Henry Wagner cut a deal on this one.
When the parking study for the library comes out, does the parking authority review it? Will that be the Chairman of both groups pleasuring himself? If the Parking Authority is supposed to solve the parking issues in the Borough, why is its Chairman making more problems?

Someday you may look back at what you just wrote and say "Wow, I can't believe I was that stupid".
I just want to know where all the distrust comes from? Were you abandoned as a child? Come on, what does Henry Wagner have to gain? Or what does Adam have to gain? Please give specifics, and don't just give vague answers. If you're gonna make accusations about these people then at least have the facts to explain your thoughts. I'll be waiting.
I don't think it is a secret that Henry has been a big supporter of the library and ask anyone that has attended the supporters meetings which Council people show up. The beauty of this is that I can make vague accusations, like the one I did, and not have to really explain. Did it come out that Messina was cutting deals with developers? Yes, but after the accusations flew for a while. It will all come out.
Henry has nothing to gain. That is the sad part of all this. If he was a true leader, he would sit down with both sides and hash this out.
How will they get around the Borough Ordinance regarding the number of parking spaces needed? Take more of Reeves Park for a parking lot? Or has that already been decided in back door meetings with Borough Council and the Zoning Board?
Adam has plenty to gain here. He gets to "create" the problem with one hand (vastly adding to the parking problems around the library) and then "solve" the problem on the other (as Chair of the Parking Authority) by forcing those of us who live in the area to buy parking permits so that we can pay to park in front of our own houses and then have that money used to fund a parking garage for his friends who own property in the downtown.
As a consultant, he can add both projects to his resume as a "problem-solver" and charge more fees to others to "fix" similar "problems."
Brilliant -- for him!
Both sides have had ample opportunity to present their side. This is being done (not by Henry Wagner) but by a bunch regular people who want to see Phoenxiville grow. You are just throwing anything against the wall to see what sticks. You even admitted it. Specifics please, specifics.
Anon 9:08am - you're a dope! Adam has plenty to gain by creating the parking problem? What kinda crack you smoking (Mr Foohey's crack)? You mean all 6 or 8 spaces that are being lost to the library expansion? Wow, he really looks like a genius by clearing those problems up. And I thought the Phoenix Tavern closed years ago, but obviously there's still someplace to get cheap drinks that I'm not aware. WTF?
