RNC candidate distributes controversial Obama song

I would think that a party that just got its ass handed to them would think twice about antagonizing 1) Minorities and 2) Liberals. This is the reason we lose. I hope my fellow party members see this. When Howard Dean went to the DNC in hopes of becoming the head of the DNC, he sent out a comprehensive plan, the 50 state strategy, for winning future voters to the Democratic side. The GOP sends out parody CD's. I guess we will have to spend a few more years in the wilderness.

I have two things to say about this:

1) The parody song is not, in and of itself, racist. Not if you know the background of it, and knoe enough about politics to understand the political point its making.

2) If you want to lead the Republican party you'd have to be a completely tin-eared, insensitive moron to not understand that a) people not seeking to be offended could find this song offensive, and b) if you want to run the GOP you should know to stay a gazillion miles away from ANYTHING that could be seen as racially insensitive.

So I would suggest it is possible that this idiot's complete lack of understanding on point #2 may indeed indicate he's a bit of a bigot.

And, clearly, he should not be given any official position of responsibility within the GOP.
