I don't believe we have heard the last of this incident. I don't like that public education in America has to be run like a business and that decisions are made of a political nature. I can't believe sometimes that my kids are educated in schools run by these people. I can't believe that the large tax bill I get originate from decisions these people make. It hurts me most to think that I voted for most of these people.
The facts and the speculation of what the PASB knew before and who influenced who will be flying around for a while. The bill for the expenditures of a school that will never get built will be paid off over the years with our money that we paid to educate our children. Any blind trust we put in the board to do what is right, has gone out the window. Expect some new faces next year.
I hope that the new years brings a release of a report with the full findings of PSAB's investigation of the issue.
