I got an email from a faithful reader today. It described an encounter with Don Coppedge this morning. This guy is about as unprofessional as you can get. Here is part of the email and a description of the encounter:

About ½ hour ago, I saw Don Coppedge, the Board Chair of the Housing Authority of Chester County. He said to me: ‘’Young Lady, You aren’t going to get anything more. What the garden has been offered is all that the garden will ever receive” He later went on as to how I was mentally ill and that no matter what anyone said or anyone did, there would be no budging from the current Pennrose plan.

Granted the law of averages is on your side when you question the sanity of a Phoenixvillian but should you really do it in front of the Acme? I believe that Coppedge is digging themselves deeper into the hole that they will have to eventually climb out of. This guy is a complete jackass and only getting worse in his old age. Perhaps the write in campaign against nepotism should gear up and everyone can let HUD, DCED and the County Commissioners know about what is going on at the Housing Authority.

UPDATE ------ I guess that the meeting with Krack and Wagner went pretty well for the HACC and Pennrose Properties because before May 20th, they were working with the church and now Don say they get what they get. Perhaps Mr. Wagner gave the green light for zoning change that they will eventually need. Start calling your Councilmen (except Speck, he doesn't care what you think and Wagner, because he already cut the deal).
