Do we really need to report on horrible stories from out of town? Do we need to have Montco court proceedings from a Tredyffrin Twp. incident in the Phoenixville local paper. Enjoy the story.

They need some news to fill 6 pages. Since no one covers the 'police blotter', 'births', 'fire calls', 'hospital admissions/discharges', etc., due to privacy laws and fear of being sued, they have to place stories from other Journal-Register papers and AP wire services.

For those that want national and international news there are other, better, papers. "USA Today" or "Philadelphia Inquirer". Won't cost much more and you'll have more paper to recycle which will increase the monies the Borough receives for recycling.

What saddens me, is there is no more Skip Lawrence and his articles. They were very good and kept us up to date on what was going on around town and on the political front. Now there is none of that. So I have no idea what is really happening around town!
