The question that need to be asked of the candidates tonight at Molly McGuire's is "Do you support the current plan for the library expansion and would you support a change to the plan that did not call for the closing of 2nd ave?" This is important because at least on candidate in this race is still in favor of the current plan so as for an endorsement on this blog . . . . . .you ain't getting it but I will say that tomorrow should be Anyone But Gould!!!!!!

Can anyone explain why Joshua Gould is listed on the Public Library 2007 Income Tax Exemption form 990 under TY 2007 Compensation Explanation?

The library question was posed. Josh Gould was the only unequivocal yes vote for the board to vote yes and accept Second Avenue. All previously declared candidates said they would not vote to accept the Second Avenue "donation". Jan Potts was not there at the time the question was posed. A write-in candidate, Pattison said he would accept but recommended that the board and the library foundation discuss expansion plans before continuing on its present course.
