Remember when people thought that Councilman Carlos Ciruelos was a breath of fresh air and a change from the "old Council"?

Carlos was truly a huge dissappointment. He never got the concept of representative government and ALWAYS felt he was smarter and knew better than those he supposed to represent. He felt we needed to be led to his way of thinking and was very full of himself. I heard one too many of his lectures about the second month he was on Council.
Good ridance.
Do you feel that he is any different from any of the people that have come before him?
Mr Foohey, you talk about Carlos and the "people that came before him", and yet are you willing to step into the light and open yourself to the same criticism you levy? I doubt it. Carlos may or may not be a good council person (You and I are not the ones to decide that), but at least he had the balls to step into the light of your peering beady eyes. Tell me Foohey, what have you done? Step up to the plate son.
Now that I'm in the comment that goes with this thread, I'll repeat my previous comment that was posted in the incorrect thread.
"I am a resident of Mr. Ciruelos' ward. He has never answered any of my e-mails. Of course, neither did Trish when she was my council-person.
Did I vote for Trish when she ran again? Hell no!
Will I vote for Carlos again? Double Hell NO!"

Wow. You really don't know Jack -- or Toohey as the case may be.
Anonymouse 4:56.
Same here - no responses to e-mail from either Carlos or Tish.
Better response from Messina, Kirkner, and Senley even though I'm not in their wards.
Representatives from a ward should reply to their constituents if they want to stay in office.
Anon 2:53pm - I know him better than you think. So he's served on some boards. So what, does that mean he did an effective job or is doing anything for Pville? No it doesn't. His statements speak for themselves .......... big ego!
