Father's Done at Holy Ghost

Posted by Mr. Ellsworth Toohey

This is my 400th post in 6 1/2 months and I think that may be my best subject line. Anyway, I want to only post this comment to the above court order.

1 Kings 3:9 Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a people?

What "Father"?? There is no priest there at Holy Ghost - only a man so blinded by greed he can only see what HE is so desperately after. Wonder if Mr. Fedornock will read THIS from the pulpit on Sunday???

#1 - anonymous said there is no priest there at Holy Ghost - that is so true. First of all he is correct in that there was no notification of the rendering of the decision mentioned from the pulpit on Sunday and also where is the priest when he is needed as his profession is to be to heal and take care of his flock. The parishoners that are ill are calling priests from other Orthodox churches to pray over them and with them in time of need. They DO NOT want a so called priest of his caliber even near them. What a Horrible shame on him. Time to retire his collar or get him OUT!!!!!

Congratulations to the God-Loving and God-Fearing people of Holy Ghost for standing up and doing the right thing.
It appears the founders of your church weren't as dumb as your priest said they were, LOL.
I'm sure they didn't mind being called names by pompous clergymen. This is their second time around. They beat greed in 1939 and they did it again in 2009!
I'm just wondering about the excommunicated woman. She has become the sacrifice in all this. God loves her and will take care of her too.

So is this farce of a project finally done now or do the two holy men have more plans to make a buck off of this property?
And in the bigger scheme of things, how is the leadership of this church putting the parish back together again?

What about the other senior citizens who have been sent letters, refused communion, threatended burial rights in their church over this mess? Is this legal? How can the Bishop support and write letters involving issues that should not concern him? Why is this situation getting worse?
How much more money of the church will the board spend on a project the men of cloths keep pursuing?

How CAN the bishop support this? Good question, LOL. It is like 1939 all over again, Animal Farm style. What they once broke from they have now become. that is what happens when those in authority get hungry for power and forget it is God who is in power.

How is R Phifer going to pay his legal bills now if he does not receive his piece of the pie for all his hard work?

How will Clemm explain this to his clients both Evans and Bilanin/Board/Samilenko team at HG?

With all their education should't the officers have figured out they were used? I hope the church does not have to pay their attorney fees or add it to their insurances for another mistake, and get themselves dropped for reckless financial actions by selling what they do not own in the first place! LOL

Yes, it appears they all have egg on their faces, LOL!
How will they explain it? Justice? Maybe even Divine Justice?

I don't think a lawyer cares in the end who wins- he gets paid either way.

I read the response and it is certainly not the way I interpreted the decision. Leave it to the laywers to twist the facts.

What a shame that the church which calls itself both 'holy' and 'orthodox' seems to be showing anything but to each other and the community at large.

Oh well. In this secular society it looks like another one bites the dust.
