. . . Edwards has a major role in preparing the budget, but ultimately any increase would be voted on by borough council.
"The raising of taxes is almost certainly inevitable to support the current level of services," said Edwards. "I don't know how much taxes will be raised, but it shouldn't exceed the Consumer Price Index rate, which should prove that we're being efficient."
