Is there a reason?

I publish the 3 posts below because I want to point out to people what honest and hard hitting columns were once the staple of the Phoenix editorial page. OK, Rettew was a bit off on the Noyes editorial but you get the point.

Unfortunately Phoeniville, there is a reason.

It's called the Journal Register and their Stock Price.

see below for some understanding, of what has happened to The Phoenix and Journalism in general

As bad as the Phoenix is, Phoenixville is indeed fortunate to even have a Daily Newspaper.

Are Hardcopy Newspapers Dead?

It is ironic to see in today’s Wall Street Journal the story about the Christian Science Monitor eliminating its print edition of its daily newspaper and instead shifting to an online focus. Right beside that story was an article about Gannett reducing employment nationwide by 10%.

Print versions of Newspapers have been in a decline for sometime but these two moves demonstrate that is now a matter of survival to get to an online model that works. The advertising dollar is moving and as it moves, publishing business models need to shift too.

This seems eerily similar to the Google Propoganda video that predicted the demise EPIC 2015….

There is more to come on this whole story…..
