I realize that the financial crisis has led to some pretty drastic measures to bail out bankrupt or near bankrupt institutions. Who bails out the politicians that are bankrupt in the brains sector. Here is an example:

Rep. Roy Blunt, the No. 2 GOP leader in the House, suggested the rescue can be handled without a tax increase.

"It doesn't necessarily have to be something that impacts taxpayers in a negative way," said Blunt, R-Mo. "It all depends on how you put that structure together."

I would like to take a moment to thank this good fiscal conservative for his concern. I would like to point out to Mr. Blunt that perhaps his vote for the Gramm-Leach-Billy act while he was in the House, led to the deregulation of this industry that we are now bailing out. So to put it as plainly and offensively as I can, Shut the Fuck Up and drop this insane notion that oversight is bad. What a bunch of fuck ups. Every last one of them. I wonder how much money our US Rep brought in from fundraisers this week. That has to be more important than addressing his constituents.
