A Middle Finger to you, the voting public

Posted by Mr. Ellsworth Toohey

From our Council President:

Dear Ellsworth,

I won’t even consider participating until you step out from behind your cowardly veil.

Henry

My Response:

Mr Wagner,

I respect your decision not to answer the questions. I will post to your constituents that you will only answer questions from people you agree with. Those that know you should understand that.

ET

Mr Wagner
You are a coward. Regardless of who the author is asking the questions.... The public does deserve some honest answers.

Considering the fact that you have yet to be honest in many instances, it is ironic you are calling others cowardly!

You know, Ellsworth, Obama's election was, in part, a similar hand gesture to the political system and politicians who have no comprehension of the fact that they are temporary public servants.

Americans and people the world over have lost their patience with the status quo, the ignorant attitudes of those who seek political dynasties with the same old politics as usual.

The arrogant and out-of-touch among us who dare call themselves a representative of the people have been, and will be, cast aside.

There IS a new wind blowing, Mr. Toohey, and with those winds come the sound of voices crying for a change to a responsive government which places the needs of it's citizens first.

Swept away, with due diligence by the voters, will be those who have consistantly proven their agendas and votes on issues are in diametric opposition to the wishes of their constituency.

Middle Ward voters, make Wagner's only reason to return to borough hall in January just an errand to pay water and sewer bills.

Send him an email asking him to answer the questions.

email sent to Mr. Wagner this morning:
"Mr. Wagner -

Although the author of that blog and e-mail to you desires to remain
anonymous, his question DOES deserve an answer.
I'll continue reading his blog in hopes you will see fit to answer."

Not surprised by Wagner's answer. He's been playing both sides on this issue and in a small town, gets upset when he gets caught.

It doesn't matter who ET is, it matters who Henry Wagner is. He doesn't get it, has never gotten it and never will. He is an ego driven coward who will never understand the representative government concept. Shame on the middle ward voters if they return this wipe to office.

It never ceases to amaze me, how many Publicly Elected Officials, forget that whatever power they have, or perceived power they have comes from the people.

Democracy is a Full Participatory sport, and ONLY works, when people get engaged and involved.

Everyone should be following what is happening in Iran, and every Political Leader should be put on notice, that someday, the People might wake up, and start holding their Political Leaders accountable.

Chris, you should pay more attention to what is going on in your neck of the woods. As far as ET goes, some believe that you are a candidate for office. Where is the transparency?

June 22, 2009 at 5:11 PM

People would then be believing something that was false. That is not what we are trying to promote here. If I was running for office then I would answer the question. As of now, I have received no answers to my emailed question. I will be equally hard on any candidate that chooses not to answer a question from a voter no matter what office or what party he or she is.

Luckily for Chris and the many in his area, there are no
EVANS on the political manipulation payroll system.

Henry's an idiot. He followed in his neighbors footsteps and saw what happened to him.It amazes me how so called semi-intelligent people don't learn from their mistakes. The first question to all the candidates should be... Do you live in the ward that you represent ? He should definately recuse himself from the HG mess since his wife is a member of that church or was anyway.Keep giving these nuts enough rope and eventually they will hang themselves. With these nonanswers to simple questions and the pompous attitudes these 5 Council members who vote together on polarizing issues, two of whom are not running again, just count the days until King Henrys' time is up. ET ,maybe you should put up an election meter counting down the days until the general election in November.

June 22, 2009 at 11:45 PM

The name of Mr. Wagner's opponent in November is Marc Reber. If, Mr. Toohey, you recently sent him some questions via e-mail I am certain he will respond. He only recently got back from Russia, though, doing some volunteer work. I know merely because I picked him up at the airport. So it may take a couple days.

Also, I have a piece of news for Mr. Wagner: You were elected by anonymous people in a voting booth.

Karen, you're the best. Who else could say so eloquently that it's time for Wagner to leave the building? His type is a dying breed and won't be missed.

Looking forward to casting my vote for Marc Reber and hoping the East and West wards elect Republicans to fill the two vacated seats.

That's not an endorsement for Kirkner, but I think he's seen the light and up to the North ward to decide.

I pay plenty of attention to what is going on in my neck of the woods, and the region. Take a look at the latest.

As you can see, every community has its issues, and it seems like Political Leaders, forget where it is, that they got their power from.
