My kid brought me home a Lavender Vanilla cookie from the Handcrafted Cookie Company on Main St. last night. It had to be the best cookie I ever tasted. It is just a little hole in the wall with a few tables but the product packs a punch. $2 for 2 cookies are reasonable and worth it. I would suggest you wash it down with a Ginger Beer.
It appears they do a lot of business with their mail order cookie dough. It is like $10 for a batch of dough. This is their retail location. I hope it does well. It could be one of those narrow markets that succeed. The cookies need to draw the people away from the coffee houses if it wants to sell anything else though. Check it out. The cookie of the month is Oatmeal Raisin.
