The time has finally arrived

It has arrived at the time for all of us to end our relationship with the Phoenix. It is time for them to close their doors, turn off the lights, and stop the presses. They have officially lost all credibility by placing a Global Warming denier in their editorial page. Do we really wonder how some people get away with the bullshit they get away with in this town? It is the absence of a credible working press.

Here is what got me all in a tizzy this morning:

The report was challenged as lacking a scientific basis on January 28 by a former chief of the National Aeronautic and Space Administration, Dr. John S. Theon. He "slammed the computer models used to determine future climate, claiming they are not scientific in part because modelers 'resisted making their work transparent so that it can be replicated independently by other scientists.'" Theon was joined by Dr. J. Scott Armstrong, founder of the "International Journal of Forecasting," in stating that the computer models underpinning the work of many scientific institutions concerned with global warming are fundamentally flawed.

Now, you may remember John Theon because he was the Bush NASA administrator that was causing most of the problems with changing scientific data to support the absence of a warming problem. Then it just all slammed down on my head when I read this:

There is daily evidence that the support for the global warming concept is dwindling. As more evidence accumulates, relating to any possibility that global warming may be caused by the activity of human beings, the closer the nation comes to the realization that global warming is "unstoppable" and must run its course as it has over the last 1,500 years.

Rome is burning so lets get fiddlin'.
