I am not sure if anyone is following the Allen Stanford fraud saga. HE is accused of swindling investors and depositors out of $8 billion through his bank of Antigua. Antigua is a notorious tax haven which has been like Eden for those wishing to launder money. Well a number of Major League Baseball stars have come forward and admitted that their accounts in the bank have been frozen. The latest being Scott Eyre of the Phillies.
Are professional sport stars hiding money in off shore accounts to get out of paying taxes? I think under the professional sports anti trust agreement we should force this practice to stop.
