Can Leo carry the load? He is popular in the East but is he that popular?

From today's Phoenix:

Letitia "Tish" Jones will make a race for the East Ward Council seat now held by Democrat Carlos Ciruelos, who has declined to run again. Jones served as an East Ward member of Council twice, first from 2000 to 2002, and then from 2004 to 2007.

At this point, it all depends on if the R's can put forth some viable candidates.

Very disappointed to see it's the "same old, same old." It would be nice to see some new faces running for Council.

Don't count her out. Tish Jones has always been a sleeper.

and a snorer! I think it is pretty sad that all the East Ward can come up with is Ms. Jones. Not that she has not put her time in as Councilwoman but how effective was she. Entertaining . . . .Yes. Effective . . . .Not really.

If the Republicans can put up a decent candidate they have a chance to steal that one.

Yes, Leo CAN carry the load!
But don't depend on Tish for anything. If she's the best the party can come up with, we're in a lot of trouble. Let's get someone that CAN beat Carlos to run!
