We all live on Rumor St.

The agenda for the next Council meeting includes a resolution to retain the professional services contract of Czop/Specter as the Borough's Engineering consultant. It is already known that they were the firm originally hired by a local developer for his "mega-tower's" development but there may have been more insider stuff going on last year when the decision was made.

The grapevine says that Czop/Specter employed the son of a recently "formered" Councilman (that is folically challenged). That Councilman was also the friend and protector of the last Borough Manager that collected the proposals and gave his reccomendations to the whole Council.

Ask around at how good a job they are doing and you will figure out how they got the job. Will the ghosts of Mess and Ant live on?

I believe that Czop/Specter lost a lawsuit because they had hired an uncredentialed young man to provide someone who could control the growth of grass and weeds. Having obtained the services of someone with documented state credentials dealing with grass and weeds is a reasonable "just business, Fredo" decision.

the more things change the more they stay the same. Next election- we need to erase all shred of the past.

Checked on the lawsuit thing. Found that actually there was a suit filed against PennDOT and they were named in the suit. There was nothing to do with any certifications and that they won it.
