When the inmates run the asylum

Who is actually in charge here???? Who is responsible for planning the "new Route" for the French Creek Parkway? Since when did we anoint this man as our Lord Emperor? If anyone is voting for a Council candidate next year that does not say that the CDC contract needs to be immediately terminated, they are crazy. That parkway was engineered and planned out with the whole master plan and these fuck nuts decide on a whim to change things without consulting anyone. They just re-upped the zoning and master plan another 15 years for Christ sake. They have lost their fucking minds. Please, can someone take their toys away from them.

Isn't it true that they moved the road or something to appease these idots? If so why is it not completed yet?

Former borough manager Don Edwards took it upon himself to approve a move of the Gateway Building so Delta wouldn't have to pay $44,000 to move the sewer interceptor - allegedly.

Edwards admitted to doing so and claimed he had the right to make such an executive decision as the borough engineer, but as far as I know he never stated exactly why he approved the move. The sewer interceptor information came from PPG, I believe, during the public hearings of April 2005.

The building was moved into the right of way for the French Creek Parkway making it impossible to build the road as it was initially supposed to be built, with a connection point at the intersection of Bridge and Starr streets.

This was no fault of council's, except maybe John Messina who was laying in bed with PPG so long the back of his head was starting to flatten, as council was never informed by either Edwards or PPG that this was taking place until the foundation for the Gateway Building was already laid.

The Parkway is not completed because all the ridiculous things Delta did, and those they should have done but didn't, managed to somehow get swept under the rug by the majority of council members.

Fortunately at election time, the majority of North Side voters finally swept out the rug - Praise Jeebus - and Delta went with him.

If there isn't a connection at Bridge and Starr, where would it be?

There will be a connection at Starr and Bridge St. Right where it was always planned. There is a question as to where it will be rerouted.
