here I am, stuck in the middle with you. Radicals come in all shapes and sizes. There are those that bomb things with explosives to forward their cause (like the Pentagon) and there are those that bomb things on TV to forward their cause (like interviews). Radicals can be dirty, sweatshirt wearing men with wild hair and bad teeth or they can be cute brunettes with a nice family and $1500 shoes.
As you watch the clip think of how radical it really is to not classify an abortion clinic bomber as being a "terrorist". Hell, you don't even need quotes. Terrorist, period. Radicals have agendas and forward them in different ways. This radicals agenda is being put out there as a vice presidential candidacy. If it wasn't for the fact that she has zero knowledge about 90% of the issues (even the duties of the job) she might be able to fake some credibility.
Both of these people have radical agendas. Both believe they are or were fighting wars. Whether their agendas started with Students for a Democratic Society or the Alaskan Independence Party, they mainstreamed themselves enough to be on our political radar this year.
Good luck choosing sides.

I have not shown a middle of the road stance nor was I saying that I was. What I was pointing out was that there are radicals on all sides. One radical just happens to be the Republican Vice Presidential candidate. I take a much more middle of the road stance on Obama than I do McCain and their is a reason for that. The reason is that as I have worked for my party for over 20 years to help our candidates and I hold them to higher standards. Why do I hold them to higher standards????? Because I want to be associated with a party that stands for something other than the bullshit that this campaign has exhibited. To their credit, the Obama campaign has laid out a good grassroots effort to win this election and they have kept a sense of possitiveness. not 100% but enough to keep it respectable.
I expect a comment that says "If you don't like the party, leave". I will preempt that with this: I will not leave a party that I have been a member of all my life because members of it have made asses out of themselves. The party has left what it once stood for and instead of jumping ship and becoming a Democrat, I will try to fix the problems within my own party. Besides, the Democrats don't know their asses from a hole in the ground and they wouldn't even had a chance if it wasn't for the fact that the current batch of Republicans were so greedy and stupid.
