A Nightmare on Elm Street

Remember the CDC tooting their own horn about the Elm Street Grant that was going to transform the 100 block of High St with new sidewalks and Street lights? Well over a year later, there is still no streetlights. The sod is dying or is uncut. The block is the same as before with the exception of new sidewalks. What happened to this project?

Those of us on the South Side are still waiting for those new street lights we were promised with an Elm Street grant five years ago.

heres's an idea pay the cdc 125,000 a year, and everything will get done.

how about the weeds in the park across from Molly Maguires?
